Come dressed to move with this high-energy hour of fun! Each class includes warm-up, improvisation, individual movement to various styles of music, and some fun-to-learn choreography. Bring your child who loves to dance or who would like to learn to express themselves through great music!

ArtWorks for Everyone!

The Groton Center for the Arts excited to offer many new classes this year as well as the tried and true. Our old faithfuls are back: Voice, guitar, drama, keyboard, and one stroke painting, in addition to new classes in several types of jewelry making, photography, watercolor painting, murals, art classes for youth, quilting, 3 levels of reiki, well-being, and theme parties for youth, and so many more. SkateWorks!

Registrations for SkateWorks skating lessons for youth ages 3 - 18 have begun. HURRY! Only two days left to register at the Early Bird price of $299. October 1st, the full price of $340 will be in effect. 15 weeks of fun on the ice, as your child becomes more proficient in skill, balance and technique. Classes begin November 8, and run through March 7th (with no classes during the holidays). The Groton Channel will create a DVD of the "Ice Review" on March 7th. Three Rivers Youth Theatre presents:

Velveteen Rabbit! Auditions for Velveteen Rabbit, a musical based on the children's classic, will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 2-5 and Sunday, October 5 from 1-4. A cast of 30 boys and girls ages 7-10 will be chosen for this production. For more information: www.grotoncenterforthearts.org and click Three Rivers Youth Theater.
